We may not always get along with our dog friends, but they deserve the same respect and care as any other living creature. I just came across this article that states there is a video showing a marine throwing a puppy off a very large cliff. Read it here. Animal cruelty is very serious business, and I do not understand why anyone would do something like this.

How would the soldier feel if he were the one thrown off the cliff instead? Something has to be done to avoid any future happenings. They should be a law to sue the soldier harshly. 12 months probation as you have stated is not harsh enough!
Given all the animals that the troops over seas have been rescuing, I find this unforgivable. The man should be given a dishonorable discharge from the armed services.
We feel so angry and sad over this...
