Today I has two articles to discuss!
The first one makes my heart purr. A Kitten to Help Her Cope is one of the articles I has to share. Little 9 year old human-kitten Shannon was abducted a little less than one month ago. She was just found this past week! Shannon has to be questioned so that the please-men can find out what happened to her during the time she was missing and who is to blame. To keep Shannon's nerves calm, she has been given a kitten to play with while she is interviewed. Us kittens really do take on big responsibilities sometimes, but we are always happy to do it.
See don't I look a little crazy?
In one of the most comprehensive explorations of cats' origins to date, Lyons and her colleagues spent about five years collecting feline DNA, poking behind the whiskers of more than 1,100 Persians, Siamese, street cats and household tabbies around the world to swab inside their mouths.
By analyzing 39 genetic signposts in the samples, the researchers were able to investigate a variety of questions, including which breeds are most closely related and where they most likely originated.Funny beans thinking they can figure us out! We are much too complex!
